About Faith Baptist
what we are about
Our story.
For nearly three decades, Faith Baptist Church Lakeland has been a cornerstone of our community. As an active member of the South Florida Baptist Association, we’re dedicated to upholding our Baptist traditions while also seeking new ways to reach out and engage with our community.
Our church is led by Senior Pastor Drew White, who came to us from Cincinnati, Ohio with his wife Jamie and their three children, Marshall, Oakley, Crase and Nora. Pastor Drew’s passion for sharing the love of Jesus Christ and his commitment to serving our community have brought new life and vitality to our congregation.
At Faith Baptist Church Lakeland, we’re proud to be a local body of Bible-believing Christians who are focused on living out our faith through outreach and service. We believe that by working together, we can make a positive difference in the world around us.
From our engaging youth programs to our dynamic worship services, there’s something for everyone at Faith Baptist Church Lakeland. We’re here to support you on your spiritual journey and help you grow in your faith.
We invite you to come visit us and experience the warmth and hospitality of our community. We’re excited to get to know you and to share the joy and inspiration of our faith with you.

Our Mission.
our 6 key principles
At Faith Baptist Church Lakeland, we’re passionate about spreading the love of Jesus Christ and living out our faith through outreach and service. Our mission is rooted in six key principles:
First, we will love the Lord with everything we are. Our love for God is the foundation of everything we do, and we seek to honor Him in all aspects of our lives.
• “And thou shalt love the Lord thy God with all thy heart, and with all thy soul, and with all thy mind, and with all thy strength: this is the first commandment.” – Mark 12:30 KJV
Second, we will treasure God’s Word. We believe that the Bible is the living Word of God, and we’re committed to studying, understanding, and living out its teachings.
• “Thy word have I hid in mine heart, that I might not sin against thee.” – Psalm 119:11 KJV
Third, we will love one another. We believe that the church is a family, and we’re committed to supporting, encouraging, and caring for one another in all circumstances.
• “A new commandment I give unto you, That ye love one another; as I have loved you, that ye also love one another.” – John 13:34 KJV

Fourth,we will serve the Lord together. We’re all called to use our gifts and talents to serve others, and we believe that by working together, we can make a greater impact for Christ.
• “As every man hath received the gift, even so minister the same one to another, as good stewards of the manifold grace of God.” – 1 Peter 4:10 KJV
Fifth, we will live for the kingdom. Our ultimate goal is to build God’s kingdom and make a positive impact on the world around us. We believe that by being a light in our community, we can help others experience the love of Jesus Christ.
• “Seek ye first the kingdom of God, and his righteousness; and all these things shall be added unto you.” – Matthew 6:33 KJV
Sixth, we will pursue Jesus daily. We believe that the Christian life is a journey, and we’re committed to growing in our faith, deepening our relationship with God, and following Jesus every day.
• “And he said to them all, If any man will come after me, let him deny himself, and take up his cross daily, and follow me.” – Luke 9:23 KJV
At Faith Baptist Church Lakeland, these principles are at the heart of everything we do. We invite you to join us on our mission to spread the love of Jesus and experience the warmth and fellowship of our community.
